England's Head Coach Thomas Tuchel stated that he has "no problem" with Jude Bellingham after these players were omitted the England team for forthcoming matches against Latvia and Wales.

The midfielder has not been recalled even after recovering from a shoulder injury, while Foden and Grealish are also absent despite displaying improved form with their respective clubs.

The German manager revealed that Bellingham wanted to be included of the squad, having spoken with him on the phone.

"He is a special player, and for special players there can always be special rules," the coach remarked regarding the Real Madrid star, who's made just one start since returning to full health.

"However we decided to maintain the simple decision of inviting the same group.

"Bellingham always deserves to be here. There is the factor that he has not quite regained his full rhythm yet at Real Madrid - he has not finished a full game.

"He expressed a desire to be selected. We conducted a telephone conversation."

The England boss made an effort to emphasize his good rapport with the midfielder after he apologized to him previously for calling his conduct during a match as "disgusting" in a live interview.

The German stated that he used the words "without meaning to" and would be more careful going forward.

When asked if he had any issue with the player, he responded: "None. There is no issue either with Phil Foden or Jack Grealish.

"Phil is returning to impacting and shaping games for Manchester City. Grealish is almost to returning to the top form of himself.

"There exists no personal issue."

Bukayo Saka replacing the injured Noni Madueke is the only change to the previous team, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Quansah keeping their spots after joining as late additions previously due to injury.

The Three Lions play Wales in a friendly at Wembley on this Thursday before a World Cup qualifier in the Latvian capital on October 14.

If the team triumph in the away fixture, they will require a maximum of two points from their remaining two matches - against Serbia and Albania in November - to secure a place in the upcoming World Cup in North America.

Strong Performance By Tuchel

England produced their finest performance by some distance under the manager's guidance when they beat Serbia five-nil on the road in the Serbian capital in their previous match.

The England manager has consistently made it evident that he aimed to make the national team feel like a club side and, by retaining the same squad after a statement win, he has achieved that. But the questions will arise once more in the following session if the team win well in these next two matches.
